Stratégir Launches in UK and Appoints MD

European market research company Stratégir has opened a new office in Covent Garden, London and appointed Dorte Torpe Hansen as UK MD.

For the past 12 years, Torpe Hansen has worked at Research International in roles based in South Africa, Denmark and the UK.

Founder Luc Milbergue said of the appointment: 'Dorte's appointment marks a very important step in growing our business and further developing our international capability. She brings expertise in the research industry and a real understanding of how to deliver consumer insight to clients across international markets.'

In the UK, Stratégir will build on its experience in consumer goods and luxury products - focusing on its expertise in innovation, shopper & consumer insight, and overall evaluation of the marketing mix (especially packaging research).

Stratégir was founded by Milbergue in 1986. Its headquarters are based in Bordeaux, France and the firm also has an office in Mannheim, Germany and a partner company called WisdomAsia in China. The firm employs 70 staff and has a turnover of EUR 10m; 30% of which comes from international projects.
