UK Firm's Nurse and Patient 'First'

London-based medical market research company Healthcare Landscape has launched what it believes is the first patient and nurse omnibus.

The new service provides companies with access to a panel of patients affected by a number of medical conditions, as well as to specialist nurses.

'We feel that this will provide agencies with further opportunities to enhance and add value to their own capabilities,' explained CEO Lila Mann. 'We were one of the first to develop and build true patient panels and recognise that the omnibus is an excellent way to leverage our resources.'

Healthcare Landscape, which was formerly known as The Patient Connection, also runs The Healthcare Professionals Voice, a community of healthcare professionals who participate in medical market research via online surveys, focus groups, or face-to-face interviews.

Earlier in the year, All Global launched a Palliative Care Panel, providing access to more than 18,000 physicians, nurses, pharmacists and healthcare professionals; while WorldOne Research unveiled a European and US GP omnibus tapping into the firm's panel of more than 320,000 physicians and 60,000 allied healthcare practitioners.
