Arbitron Seeks New Jersey Injunction
Arbitron has followed up its appeal for court protection from the New York Attorney General with the same request in New Jersey. The firm seeks a declaratory judgment and injunctive relief to prevent a ban on publication of its PPM estimates.
The radio measurement giant has now asked the US District Court for the District of New Jersey for a declaratory judgment and injunctive relief against the New Jersey Attorney General, once again citing its First Amendment rights.
Last week it brought forward the commercialisation of the PPM in eight new markets, stimulating fiercer criticism from the NY Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. The further details of today's New Jersey request are the same as those for New York.
