Lux Research Opens in Middle East
Emerging technology agency Lux Research has expanded with a fifth global office by opening a new operation in Dubai and hiring Matthew Silvester as Director, Middle East.
Silvester previously led Gartner Group's business in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. He first moved to the Gulf region in 1997 and spent five years as Intel's Channel Business Manager, where he led sales and marketing across the Middle East. Following this, he built and ran his own telecoms company in Dubai.
'Our clients in the region are leaders in scouting for technology innovations and our new office puts us closer to them,' explained Lux Research CEO Dennis Philbin. 'Matthew has helped global companies select and deploy technologies for a decade and his support will be extremely valuable to our clients.'
Lux Research was founded in 2004, is headquartered in New York and has additional offices in Boston, San Francisco, Amsterdam, and now Dubai.
