6S On the Up Despite Economic Downturn

Yorkshire, UK-based qual specialist 6S is celebrating its second year in business with a 100% increase in turnover, partly attributed to business wins in the financial services sector.

The firm was founded by former Nunwood researchers Richard Postlethwaite and Martin Reed.

Like their former employer, the pair have recently gained a number of new financial services clients - including Norwich Union and HBOS General Insurance - and say that as the credit crunch bites, more firms are realising the importance of research to help them better understand their clients' needs.

Postlethwaite comments: 'The economic uncertainty demands that business leaders ensure they are as fully informed as possible before taking decisions and implementing change. 6S deliver the insights and actionable recommendations necessary to guide clients in these uncertain times.'

6S, which is based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, conducts qual market research through focus groups, face-to-face and telephone depth interviews, accompanied shops, and eye-tracking workshops.
