Acxiom Buys Analytics and Predictive Modeling Firm
In the US, marketing analytics firm Acxiom has acquired Quinetix, a company which provides analytics and predictive modeling for large and medium-sized businesses. Terms were not disclosed.
Rochester, New York-headquartered Quinetix was founded in 2000 by the same management team that leads it today. Acxiom and Quinetix already partner to offer a service to the retail banking, hospitality, and media sectors. Acxiom said the acquisition will provide it with additional consumer insight capabilities to enable clients to more effectively retain and grow their customer base.
'By formally incorporating Quinetix's Customer Cube into the Acxiom solution, we will give our clients additional analytics firepower to extend the value derived from our marketing services,' said Tom Mangan, Acxiom SVP for Global Consulting.
As part of the deal, Quinetix President and CEO Rob DiCesare will join Acxiom's global consulting team and report to consulting practice leader Mike Richardson. He will be joined at Acxiom by senior managers Paul Bennett, Gary Briggs, Tricia Kennedy and Craig Wingate, and the rest of the Quinetix team.
