Shanghai Opening for Research Outsourcing Firm
India-based outsourcing company Annik has opened an operation in Shanghai, to service clients in Japan, China and Korea - with local language support capabilities.
The firm provides support for a number of western European languages from its centre in India, and says the Shanghai center adds Japanese, Mandarin and Korean, as well as giving it 'an established footprint in key markets where it expects growth'.
The new facility is already fully operational and ready to scale up to match demand. 'Our customers are all around the world' comments COO Sandeep Bhatia. 'This operational model helps us provide regional services and quicker turnaround. As we grow, we will look at an ideal mix of onshore and offshore talent to optimize our service delivery model.' CEO Rahul Sahgal says the expansion 'reaffirms our commitment to our clients to expand our scope and coverage from purely English and Western European countries to other strategically important markets.'
Two weeks ago, Annik was named in Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's list of Fast 50 Technology companies in India, for the second time in three years; and for the Fast 500 Technology companies for the Asia Pacific region for the third year in a row.
