Burke Prepares New Headquarters
In the US, full service marketing research firm Burke Inc has acquired a seven acre property in downtown Cincinnati, which will become the future site of its new corporate headquarters.
To prepare the site for occupancy, the firm plans to spend $10m on improving and renovating the property, which was formerly owned by Automatic Data Processing. Earliest projections for moving to the new location are June 2010.
'We are very excited to be committed to this development project and to improving our corporate presence for our clients and employees,' said President and CEO Dr Michael Baumgardner. 'While we pursue this project at a time when there are many economic challenges facing us all, we are confident that our business will be able to support this project.'
Founded in 1931, Burke Inc is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio with regional offices throughout the US, and is 100% employee owned.
