New CEO for Chime's Research Arm
UK marcoms group Chime Communications has appointed Paul Tredwell as Chief Executive of its Research and Engagement division.
He takes the reigns of the group's main research firm Opinion Leader, as well as the rest of the agencies in the division, which include Brand Democracy, Caucus, Facts International, Ledbury Research, and Naked Eye.
Tredwell has been working as a Communications Consultant for the past four years, following a career in the ad industry which included leadership positions at AMV, Euro RSCG, Leagas Delaney, and Saatchi & Saatchi.
In his new role, he will work alongside Chime's Research and Engagement Division Joint Chairs Viki Cooke and Deborah Mattinson to raise the division's profile, integrate its offer, drive innovation and grow its international business.
Tredwell commented on his new position: 'I'm thrilled to be joining the group at a time when the need for intelligent, accurate and actionable research has never been so great.'
In November, Chime described the performance of its Research division as 'disappointing', with profits for the first ten months of the year below the same period in 2007.
