Ugam Expands in North America
Indian MR outsourcing firm Ugam Solutions has opened new offices in Rochester, New York and Dallas, Texas, and appointed Jim Frederickson as its President in North America and Russell Britt as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Frederickson joins from Harris Interactive, where he worked for the past 22 years; latterly as EVP, Global Research Operations and Information Technology. In his new role, he will be responsible for all North America operations and for assembling a US team which will provide project management and customer support services for existing clients and grow new business.
Britt joins with more than 20 years' market research sales experience, most recently gained as VP of Custom Survey Solutions at Information Resources. He has also held senior sales positions with Nielsen and TNS.
Commenting on the appointments, CEO Sunil Mirani said: 'Our North American business has grown significantly over the last several years. Jim and Russell's appointments demonstrate our desire to invest in senior management talent and our confidence in the growth of our business.'
Ugam Solutions has two offices in Mumbai, and also operates an international data collection and client service facility in London and an office in New York City. The firm offers a range of offshoring solutions including online and telephone data collection, data cleaning, advanced analytics, and multi-country project management.
