New Research Firm to Focus on Millennials

In the US, entertainment production and talent management firm Generate has opened its own market research division to help companies engage with the 'Millennial' demographic (those born between 1982 and 2001) and support projects across the company.

Janis GaudelliJanis Gaudelli joins as SVP to lead the new Generate Insight division, and will draw feedback from a community of 'Insighters' whom she has personally recruited and developed relationships with over many years. She commenced this work when she oversaw Teen People magazine's Trendspotter network. Generate Insight's network of 7,500 Insighters, made up of tweens, teens, young adults and mothers, is sourced in real-time through the relationships Gaudelli has with the community.

Youth culture and trends consultant Gaudelli previously worked as Market Research Consultant at Premise Immersive Marketing, prior to which she pushed back the boundaries of job title credibility as Consumer Intelligence Specialist/Disciple of Youth at GO-TO-GIRL, and LuckyStyleSpotter at Lucy Magazine. She has also worked as a freelance Researcher at Girls Intelligence Agency, and founded her own research based marketing group, Noesis.

'Generate was founded with a mission to understand the Millennial audience and develop content that suits their unique worldview and consumption habits,' explained CEO Jordan Levin. 'Bringing Janis in and creating the new division enables us to better achieve that mission - and help others share in our understanding.'

Generate Insight will analyze feedback from the Insighters community to produce a monthly 'Pulse' report, a snapshot of trends and themes impacting the Millennial generation.

'Keeping up with and truly listening to what this generation is saying and feeling is crucial to developing successful entertainment properties and marketing campaigns alike,' added Gaudelli.
