Cegedim Rolls out Longitudinal Patient Data
In France, healthcare researcher Cegedim Strategic Data (CSD) has expanded its patient and medical research to provide longitudinal patient data in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
The firm offers a wide range of analyses based on real-life observational patient data to help pharmaceutical firms manage portfolio lifecycle challenges and future opportunities. Examples include market share in Rx and patients, prescriptions and co-prescriptions, patient profiles, and dynamic segments.
CEO Bruno Sarfati stated: 'With this strengthening of our offer, CSD creates more value for its clients and will continue to extend these offers in the future.'
CSD's Medical Research department conducts pharmaco-epidemiological studies, disease prevalence, risk management, health economics and outcome studies.
The company already has longitudinal patient databases in Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, and Korea.
Last month, CSD launched a service which integrates its various data sources and deliver comprehensive analysis.
