Unboxed Consulting Opens in Dubai
In Dubai, market research consultant Dipen Mehta has launched Unboxed Consulting, to provide specialised research services for clients in the region.
His firm offers qual and quant research, consultancy, ethnography and online research, and its consultants come from backgrounds in marketing, psychology and advertising.
Unboxed already has a footprint across the Middle East and Africa in countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Sudan and Iran where fieldwork support is offered by native language speaking moderators.
Mehta has a 16 year market research background, with 10 years spent in the Middle East. Most recently he worked as a Director at Quest Consulting, prior to which he held senior roles with Tebbutt Research, TNS, ACNielsen and IMRB. His areas of expertise include financial research with in-depth knowledge of Islamic banking, FMCG, branding, brand equity, advertising and consumer understanding.
Mehta has previously run ESOMAR training courses and spoken at numerous industry events.
'Clearly there is a niche for a player like us and this is already reflected in the interest shown to us by a variety of clients,' stated Mehta.
