New York-based MR and custom analytics firm GBH Insights has appointed former Ipsos exec Rob Hernandez as Senior Vice President of Research & Insights in its Chicago office.GBH offers a proprietary research model combining industry knowledge, research expertise and data analytics to better understand industry trends. A year ago, the firm opened an office in London.
Hernandez (pictured) joins from Ipsos, where he served as SVP, Sector Lead for CPG and Financial Services clients; prior to which he was EVP of Consulting at GfK, leading the Innovation and Qualitative practices. Earlier, he spent more than a decade at Firefly Millward Brown, latterly as a Consultant, and he was President of Brand Insight Group. He began his career at Leo Burnett, before joining Sears, Roebuck and Company, where he focused on strategic advertising and brand research.
In his new role, Hernandez will partner directly with global brands, focusing on the answers needed to move their businesses forward. GBH said in a statement: 'Rob has an extensive and interesting background, having worked with dozens of major brands across industries, both in-house and with large agencies. From qualitative and quantitative research to inform brand strategy, equity and positioning to applying data and analytics to help clients solve challenges, his career has run the gamut'.
