From next Monday, Millward Brown IMS and Lansdowne Market Research will combine into a single company named Millward Brown Lansdowne. The new firm will be part of Millward Brown Ireland, along with Millward Brown Ulster.
Former Lansdowne MD Roger Jupp becomes Chairman of the merged business, supported by Lansdowne's Deputy MD Richard Waring who becomes MD. Millward Brown IMS MD Carol Fanagan
takes on the role of Deputy MD of the new firm.
Irish Marketing Surveys Group was founded in 1963, and previously operated three companies - Irish Marketing Surveys (IMS) and Lansdowne Market Research in Dublin, and Ulster Marketing Surveys - until it was acquired by Millward Brown in 2002.
Millward Brown Ireland CEO Eamonn Williams explains: 'By joining forces into a single company, Millward Brown Lansdowne will have greater resources and talent to deliver further value to clients. The company's insight and consultancy capabilities will be strengthened, and our knowledge of industry sectors will be deepened.'
