Research Club Heads Stateside

Market research networking group The Research Club is to host its inaugural US event in New York on Thursday 17 June; a week after its debut in Italy.

The Club is an open social event for anyone involved in the market / social research industry. It offers the opportunity to make new contacts and develop business opportunities while enjoying complimentary drinks and canapés provided by the event sponsors. The club frowns on hard-sell practices and doesn't allow speeches or formal presentations.

Since its launch more than five years ago, events have been held in Frankfurt, Hamburg, London, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Paris; and last year, the club moved out of Europe for the first time to stage a networking event in Dubai.

'We are very excited about our first event in New York this month and I am sure researchers will find it beneficial once they see for themselves the value of making new personal contacts,' states club co-founder John Mackay. 'We hope this will be the first of many across the USA.'

The New York event will start at 6pm at The Local Cafe, Local West, 1 Penn Plaza, NY 10119.

Earlier in the month, the Research Club will also host its first Italian research industry networking event in Milan. This will take place on Thursday 10 June at the Roof Terrace, Hotel Dei Cavalieri Milano, Piazza Missori 1 - 20123.
