US-based marketing technology company Lotame has opened an office in the UK, and where it has appointed former AOL executive Chris Stark as Managing Director.
Lotame's flagship Crowd Control targeting and analytics platform collects and analyses online content and uses this to build and refine audience segments. The firm is headquartered in New York, with additional US bases in Columbia, Maryland, and in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Stark joins the new UK office from AOL Advertising, where as Director of EU Sales Operations he worked across nine European markets and managed financial planning and operational analytics for the European sales teams. Prior to this, he worked for AOL's Platform-A ad business as Director, EU Technical Operations. Earlier, Stark was Initiative Lead at ad technology firm Advertising.com, and a Project Manager with Systems Alliance.
He began his career as a Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and IBM Global Services (formerly PwC Managing Consulting Services).
'The arrival of Chris Stark signals Lotame's elevation to truly global status,' states CEO Andy Monfried (pictured). 'Chris is just the right person to facilitate our transition at a cultural and operational level.'
