Marketing content and comms services specialist STW Group has strengthened its insights division with the launch of a specialist market research data collection agency called Touchpoint Research Australia.
Previously part of STW-owned research consultancy AMR Interactive, Touchpoint is now a separate entity which provides specialist computer assisted telephone interviewing (CATI), data processing, coding and other data entry services.
STW recently bought a 40% stake in 'voice of the customer' (VoC) specialist Feedback ASAP, as part of its mystery shopping joint venture agreement with field marketing agency Smollan.
STW's CEO Michael Connaghan (pictured) says the launch of the new business was a direct response to market demand. 'We felt the time was right to have a quality-driven, experienced provider in the marketplace,' he comments. 'Touchpoint's established and experienced team also has unique insight having been part of a full-service research agency, so they understand how data collection fits within the broader insights category.'
Touchpoint's Operations Director Helena Harrison adds that the new firm will service both the B2B and B2C sectors, partnering with clients on all aspects of data collection or individual services as required.
