Synovate Promotes Smith to New Pan-Africa Ops Role

Darren Smith has been promoted to the newly created post of Operations Director for Synovate Pan-Africa, based in Kenya.

Smith, who joined Synovate in 2004, was promoted in 2007 to the post of General Manager in Singapore, where he oversaw business development, operations, implementation, solutions and product development. He was previously Asia Pacific Director of Synovate subsidiary ViewsCast, and began his career with Cable and Wireless in London in corporate sales, before moving to Tokyo, where he served as Customer Service Director.

His specialities include customer experience, call centre operations, mystery shopping and integrated solutions.
