Mintel Launches Beauty and Personal Care Service

Consumer intelligence firm Mintel has launched a trending service for the beauty and personal care (BPC) industry, which it claims is the first of its kind.

Jane HendersonMintel has offices in London, Chicago, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney. It recently acquired consumer market data provider Access Asia, with the aim of building up its research capabilities in China.

The new 'Mintel Beauty & Personal Care' service offers brands and retailers monthly predictive analysis for nine BPC categories, examining the consumer, new product development, companies and markets. Case studies and company news from global beauty manufacturers are also featured.

In addition, the service highlights long-term trends in the sector including ingredients, packaging, retail and demographic trends, and provides product videos and webinars on current innovations and the state of the industry.
