German product, pricing and marketing strategy specialist Simon-Kucher has seen a 19% increase in revenue for the first three quarters of 2011, to EUR 86.5m.Founded in 1985, Simon-Kucher provides a range of services covering customer segmentation, market forecasting, loyalty programmes, pricing and sales force training. The company has 569 employees in 23 offices in the US, Asia Pacific and across Europe.
All the company's divisions and regions have contributed to 2011 growth, with particular success in consumer goods, industrial and mechanical engineering sectors. Headcount also grew, with the appointment of 154 new members of staff.
In the first three quarters, incoming orders reached c.EUR 95m, and co-CEOs Klaus Hilleke and Georg Tacke say the firm is projecting revenue of around EUR 120m for the year as a whole.
Tacke (pictured) adds: 'Demand for our services is very high, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Our order backlog is excellent, and there's no sign of a crisis in store for us.'
