Merged Globalpark Names New CEO

German research software firm Globalpark has promoted its MD Frank Michael to the position of Chief Executive Officer, replacing founder Lorenz Gräf who has stepped down following the acquisition by survey software firm QuestBack.

Globalpark provides feedback software for social CRM, market research, HR and marketing and has operations in Cologne, London, New York and Vienna. QuestBack acquired the company in August, in a bid to extend its own presence and expertise in the Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) market, as well as in the US.

Michael (pictured) joined in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer, and was promoted to MD last November. Before this, he was CEO of technology firm WP-Experts, and he managed the corporate planning department of a large German insurance company.

Gräf, who is now a member of the QuestBack advisory board, set up Globalpark in 1999, and then oversaw its conversion into a public limited company (AG) in 2000. He was previously the manager of the evaluation team at the VIRTUS (Virtual Univeristy Sysstems) project in the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne, and between 1997 and 2004, he was a Board member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Online-Forschung (German Society for Online Research).
