Peanut Labs Tool Offers 'Ready-to-Poll' Respondents

February 17 2012

US-based social media sampling firm Peanut Labs has launched a new DIY research product to provide users with access to a 'ready-to-poll' group of respondents.

Norman AliPeanut Labs, which was launched in 2007 to provide market researchers with access to members of social networking sites, was recently acquired by panel specialist e-Rewards, which trades under the Research Now brand.

In November, the firm launched a DIY platform called SurveyTool.com, offering access to a sample pool of respondents sourced from its network of global sites.

Its new 'Crowdvi.be' solution allows users to access respondents across a broad range of vertical markets, through short questionnaires embedded into a network of US social media and gaming sites giving a sample pool of more than 50 million consumers.

Users can launch polls any time and can target their 'desirable demographics' based on age, gender and income - the firm has plans to add ethnicity, personal interests and geographic location in the future.

CEO and co-founder Norman Ali comments: 'People all over the world are on social networks, and these people are potential respondents who are unlikely to have been previously exposed to traditional research methods. Through our Crowdvi.be tool, we provide a product that enables users to receive responses in real-time, gaining an edge over their competition.'
