In the US, social media marketing technology firm PromoJam has raised $1.2m in Series A financing, which it will use to fuel the growth of its platform and expand its sales and marketing teams.
Founded in 2008, PromoJam's dashboard enables business to build, launch and track social media promotions online and on mobile phones. Its cross-platform technology can be used to spark conversations and consumer engagement across multiple social networks at the same time, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Equipped with real-time analytics, PromoJam also provides in-depth analysis and performance metrics to help marketers maximise ROI.
The firm's new funding has been led by investment firm Golden Seeds, with participation from a group of financiers including Silicon Valley's Band of Angels.
