US-based data collection firm Focus Pointe Global (FPG) has received an undisclosed amount of funding, while appointing Noel Sitzmann as its new CEO, guiding future expansion.
The company, which was founded in 1988, offers focus group qualitative research, with ten facilities located throughout the US and field capabilities in 'all' US cities.
Sitzmann (pictured) joins after eleven years as President and CEO of talent management firm PreVisor. As part of the deal, the company's existing executive management team led by President Laura Livers will remain in place, while founder and former CEO Tom Bershad will remain in a corporate development role.
Bershad comments: 'After 24 years leading FPG, I am delighted to turn the company over to such capable leadership that I know will continue to focus on customer satisfaction while uncovering expansion and enhancement opportunities across FPG's offerings.'
FPG's new funding was led by MVC Private Equity Fund. The capital will be used for future acquisitions made to expand FPG's locations, and invested in the company's data services, online research and recruiting services technology.
