Finnish shopper and visitor analytics specialist RapidBlue Solutions has launched a 3D visualisation tool for mapping shopper movements, to enable retailers to understand the performance of their retail space across different floors and trading areas.
The company uses sensors placed in relevant retail locations to collect real-time shopper movement data from consumers' mobile devices. This data generates metrics and analytics to uncover how long consumers spend in a particular environment, how often they visit a location, and what time of day has the greatest potential for products.
Last month, the firm introduced a point-of-sale (POS) integrated version of its Shopper Analytics solution, to enable retailers to analyse those shopping trips which do not lead to sales.
Its latest tool has been developed to condense all relevant shopper analytics data on to a 3D map of a client's retail store or shopping centre environment.
COO Sampo Parkkinen comments: 'Front-line retail managers and commercial property managers are always short on time, and the ability to condense all relevant information for them to action as simply as possible is key for our future growth.'
