In London, TNS has appointed Flamingo's former US CEO Lyn McGregor for its new global role of Chief Client Service Director in its Qualitative practice.
McGregor, who will join on 1 November, most recently worked for Omnicom-owned qual specialist Flamingo as Group Strategy Director, having previously served as CEO at Flamingo, North America. Prior to this, she spent two years at Added Value, where she latterly served as Head of Insight.
In her new role, McGregor will be responsible for building a client service structure to ensure TNS delivers a consistent service to clients across the globe.
She will report to Rebecca Wynberg, CEO TNS Qualitative, who comments: 'Lyn is very highly regarded in our industry, known for her leadership skills and ability to drive results. Her input to our global team will be vital in helping us to achieve our goals of building a market leading global qualitative business.'
McGregor's appointment reinforces Wynberg's ambition to recruit a team which will reinvigorate qual research at TNS. Senior hires this year have included: William Landell-Mills, former Head of Censydiam Qualitative at Ipsos Marketing, who joined in September as Global Research Director; Radeckha Roy, who previously served as Qualitative Leader for Unilever in Asia Pacific; and Arnie Miller, who joined from YouGovSiraj to lead the qualitative team in Africa and the Middle East.
