Finnish off-line shopper analytics company RapidBlue Solutions has announced an app providing its analytics direct to mobiles. Mobile Retail Store Analytics promises store owners and managers the ability to collect data and view analysis without the need for extra in-store hardware.
RapidBlue uses radio frequency technologies in retail locations to gather visitor and shopper movement information and compiles it into visual, sales related dashboards. The new app, currently in beta and available for the iPhone, iPad, Android and Meego, presents Google Analytics-style results covering the number of visitors, dwell time and visiting loyalty as well as the window conversion rate in real-time - all computed on the handset itself, so online access is not required once the app has been downloaded.
COO Sampo Parkkinen says previously existing packages for off-line retail store analytics have used data collected by in-store hardware, and comes at a high cost, limiting the range of potential users. 'Our Mobile Retail Store Analytics changes that. By enabling retail store owners to simply download an application to receive store visitor analytics, we open up the entire tail-end retail market.'
Venture funded, the company is online at www.rapidbluesolutions.com .
