In Ireland, full service agency RED C Research has rebranded OI Research under the RED C name, two years after the firms merged.
The merger, in 2011, created what the firms described at the time as 'one of Irelands biggest independent research groups'. Dublin-based Red C was founded in 2003 by former Lansdowne Market Research execs Richard Colwell (pictured) and Sinead Mooney; while OI (formerly Outsourced Insight) was founded by David Cullen, who also previously worked at Lansdowne.
The merged firm now has Colwell as CEO, Mooney and Cullen as Joint Managing Directors, Carol Fanagan as Deputy Managing Director, and Michelle Lowry as Operations Director.
In a statement, RED C said that over the past ten years it had 'bucked the industry trend' with substantial growth, including twenty percent growth recorded for each of the past two years, adding: 'The strength of our team and the power of our insight has fuelled our success to become one of the largest suppliers of research intelligence in Ireland.'
