Social media research and communities specialist Ipsos SMX (Social Media Exchange) has launched a web app called 'Socialized Research Platform Mobile', which it says will give members a new way to view optimized content, and provide access to insights on any device.
SMX was opened last summer and focuses on research into consumer engagement and interaction. The existing SRP online community platform, on which the new Mobile version builds, enables users to tap real-time conversations, co-creation and other qual feedback in the same central location as quant studies.
SRP Mobile can be used across multiple devices with different screen sizes, with content optimized for smartphones and tablets 'regardless' of model or operating system, and photos and videos can be captured in real-time or uploaded from existing libraries. In addition, the app can be used for discussions, blogs, quick polls and surveys.
Andrew Leary (pictured), CEO of Ipsos SMX, comments: 'More and more, consumers desire ways to engage directly with brands. This app puts the control right into their hands in a more efficient way than ever before. It will play a part in helping our clients gain the insights they need to spur winning ideas that accelerate business growth.'
