US-based digital media buying platform MediaMath has opened a new office in Tokyo, Japan, to support clients in the region.
Founded in 2007, MediaMath's maths-driven TerminalOne platform brings together digital media and data to simplify the planning, execution, optimization and analysis of both direct response and branding campaigns. Earlier this month, MediaMath acquired Tactads, a firm providing cookie-less and cross-device ad targeting technologies, and last year, it bought the Advertising Decision Solutions (ADS) business of online management and measurement firm Akamai.
The new Tokyo office adds to MediaMath's existing presence in Japan where the company launched its second APAC data center last year.
Erich Wasserman (pictured), co-founder and Global Chief Revenue Officer, who has led the EMEA and APAC organization for the past three years, commented: 'We are grateful to our partners and clients who have helped us to secure a strong presence in the Japanese market. The opening of a Tokyo office enables us to create more visibility for the MediaMath brand, and allows our teams to tighten their relationships with clients and partners in the region, as well as develop new, strategic relationships.'
