Barry to Lead US Office for ZappiStore

London-based online research 'app store' platform ZappiStore has officially opened an office in Boston with the appointment of former GMI exec Ryan Barry as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America.

Launched last year by Spring Research founder Stephen Phillips, ZappiStore allows users to purchase access to market research solutions to use in their creative testing and new product development projects. In addition to products from MMR, TNS and Millward Brown, the ZappiStore platform now offer the Replise social media monitoring tools Mind Radar and Social Scan.

Barry (pictured) joins the new Boston office from WPP's online specialist Lightspeed/GMI, where he worked for the past six years, leading account teams, managing online quant studies, and helping develop internal best practices.

In his new role, Barry is responsible for business across North America. Phillips comments: 'Ryan is driven, disruptive, and very smart, which aligns perfectly with our business. I'm impressed with his knowledge of the industry and reputation for excellent client service, and look forward to the further development of our US operation.'
