TNS has appointed Stephen Hillebrand as Chief Executive Officer in the Middle East region, succeeding Steve Hamilton-Clark, who had been at the helm for the past seventeen years.
Hillebrand (pictured) has until now served as VP for the Africa, Mediterranean and Middle East Region. After joining TNS in London in 2000 and moving to the Middle East in 2008, he served as CFO, Africa, Mediterranean & Middle East, and CEO Mediterranean. Earlier, he worked for British Airways in London for nearly three years, having joined the firm's graduate programme in 1998.
In his new role, Hillebrand will lead TNS' Middle East business units, with a focus on technology-enabled research, and digitally-influenced integrated marketing. Kim MacIlwaine, Regional CEO TNS AMME, comments: 'I know Stephen's vast experience in business planning and execution will bring new energy and ideas to build on our strength, especially in the UAE, Saudi and the Gulf States.'
Hamilton-Clark joined TNS in 2001, having previously served as General Manager at NFO Worldwide, Middle East, responsible for 90 full-time employees. DRNO is awaiting news about his next career move.
