TNS has announced a number of leadership changes in Asia, including the promotion of former CEO Greater China Chris Bonsi to the newly created role of Chief Client and Insights Officer for the APAC region. Grace Liu, MC Lai and Jon Foged also earn promotions while Narelle Burke joins as HR Director.
The company says the aim is to improve its delivery for clients across Asia, taking advantage of new technologies and developing more innovative approaches.
Burke joins the company in June as Human Resources Director, TNS Asia Pacific, from Nielsen where she has led HR functions for four years, most recently as HR Director for Singapore and Malaysia.
Bonsi's new role makes him responsible for ensuring that TNS teams deliver 'compelling insights' to clients across the APAC region. Prior to joining TNS, he worked in senior roles in JD Power.
Liu, who joined as MD Malaysia in August 2012 and last year led the integration of Sinotrust into TNS, becomes CEO China. Lai steps up into the role she vacates, as MD Malaysia. He worked for TNS earlier in his career, re-joined in 2013 and has grown the qual business as well as leading a number of key accounts.
Foged, an 11-year veteran of the company with experience from its offices in London and Melbourne, moves up from MD for TNS Singapore to become Regional Managing Director, TNS Malaysia and Singapore, supporting Lai in his new role.
Chris Riquier, CEO TNS Asia Pacific, says of the moves: 'This is a very exciting time for TNS in Asia Pacific. These leaders have demonstrated their ability to deliver innovative approaches and build businesses that really serve the needs of our clients.'
