In the US, MR and analytics industry management consulting firm Cambiar has reappointed Beth Rounds as a Partner in the firm after a two-year gap, during which she served as COO of Atlanta-based Cambiar client CMI Research.
She first joined Cambiar to lead its Marketing and Product Consulting Practice in 2009, and prior to this worked in senior positions at MarketTools, Greenfield Online and GfK Custom Research.
Cambiar, founded in 2004 by US researchers Simon Chadwick and Jay Wilson, provides advice and assistance for research agency executives and corporate insight leaders facing change in a variety of areas: HR, sales performance, research transformation, marketing, research impact and training programs.
Managing Partner Simon Chadwick comments: 'We are delighted to welcome Beth back to the partnership. She brings phenomenal strategic, marketing and product marketing skills which we know our clients will also welcome with open arms'.
Rounds says it was a case of 'mission accomplished' in the COO role, adding: 'The experience gave me greater appreciation and new insight into general management and the role of strategy and planning. We work in a great industry with both challenges and opportunities for all'.
