Marcoms group Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired full service B2B marketing agency gyro, which offers creative services combined with media planning and buying expertise, data and analytics, content, and search. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The firm's 600 employees are based in fourteen offices across the US, Europe, Dubai and Singapore. Following the acquisition, Dentsu Aegis' media agency Interprise will be integrated into gyro, which will remain headquartered in the US. The latter's Global CEO and CCO Christoph Becker (pictured) will become Global Chief Executive Officer and CCO for the newly combined gyro, while Interprise Global President Stuart Giddings will become its Global Network President, responsible for client relationships and business development, and reporting to Becker.
Commenting on the deal, Becker said: 'The sheer scale and global importance of the B2B market demands an agency solution that is purpose built to serve it. gyro's award-winning creative, content and strategic capabilities combined with the deep business audience understanding and digital expertise of Interprise and Dentsu Aegis will deliver exactly that'.
