Market Strategies International has announced that CEO Rob Stone will leave the company to pursue other interests, with current Chairman and co-founder Andy Morrison adding the role with immediate effect.
Morrison will advise the company's executive committee, which comprises President Melissa Sauter; Chief Solutions Officer and MD, Health Katy Palmer; COO Todd Mundorf; and CFO Phil Giroux.
Stone, who joined when his technology research consultancy Doxus was merged with Market Strategies in 2007, led the company's Financial Services and Technology teams until his promotion to the top job in 2012.
Morrison says Stone has spent a decade 'working diligently to lead Market Strategies in this dynamic era for the market research industry', adding: 'The assets the company now enjoys in experienced senior staff, data science and qualitative capabilities as well as a significant syndicated product portfolio are, in large measure, due to his efforts. We are grateful for his service and wish him continued success'.
The company works across sectors including consumer and retail, energy, financial services, health, technology and telecoms, combining primary research with data from sources including benchmarking, self-funded studies and syndicated products known as Cogent Reports. Founded in 1989, it has offices in the US, Canada and China and is online at www.marketstrategies.com .
