New York-based agency SIS International has opened an office in Tokyo, which will be led by Andrew Edsall, responsible for client servicing across the Asia Pacific region.
The firm, which already has locations in London, Los Angeles, Berlin, Frankfurt, Manila and Shanghai, offers a variety of services ranging from opinion, satisfaction and loyalty research to segmentation, competitive intelligence and usability testing.
Edsall (pictured) joins as Business Development Director APAC, and has lived in Japan for more than fifteen years. He previously held senior positions in the executive recruitment sector, focusing on executive interviewing, marketing intelligence gathering, partner recruitment, group panel discussions, and market entry analysis. His relevant experience in the country also includes conducting B2B marketing analysis, particularly across the pharma, automotive and industrial sectors.
In his new role, Edsall is responsible for sales support and servicing of clients in Japan and Asia Pacific, and becomes part of the regional team which includes Manila, Philippines-based Iris Lorenzo, SVP of Market Intelligence; and Juemelle Villamora, Senior Project Director.
Company President and founder Ruth Stanat says Edsall is 'a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the region' and adds 'extensive research experience and intercultural skills'.
