Data-driven CRM and performance marketing agency Merkle has appointed ad industry veteran Joanne Zaiac as Chief Client Officer, Americas, responsible for the development of the vision for the firm's account management and client services.
Merkle, which was acquired by marcoms group Dentsu Aegis Network, offers a wide range of services, including data and analytics, marketing technology, digital agency services and consulting. Zaiac (pictured) joins with more than 30 years of advertising industry experience. For the past eighteen years, she held senior positions at Publicis-owned DigitasLBi North America. Most recently, she was COO of the company, before which Zaiac served as President of the DigitasLBi New York region for more than a decade. Earlier, she held leadership roles at Havas Dentsu Marsteller and Wunderman Worldwide/Young & Rubicam.
