Maru/Matchbox Expands Media and Entertainment Arm

MARU Group's tech and communities business Maru/Matchbox has appointed Andrew Hawn as SVP Consulting, and Audra Priluck as VP Business Development, in its Media and Entertainment practice.

Maru/Matchbox was formed in 2016, through the acquisition of Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division. Hawn joins after four years at Kantar's insight and innovation consultancy The Futures Company, where he served as VP, Global Knowledge Lead for Technology, Media and Entertainment; after spending eight years at consumer research company Iconoculture, latterly as VP Consumer Strategist Media/Entertainment/Technology. Earlier, he held senior roles at Comcast and TechTV.

Priluck worked most recently for Vision Critical as VP, Strategic Accounts, Media & Entertainment, before which she was VP of Consulting at GfK, VP Business Development at Ipsos MediaCT, and Director of OTX (prior to its acquisition by Ipsos). She began her research career at E-Poll, having previously worked for Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution and for Twentieth Television.
