Online video research firm Discuss.io has appointed former Nielsen exec Jason Dyer as Global Sales Director.
The firm helps clients engage directly with consumers through real-time conversations using live video, giving them 'a rapid and deep-seated understanding of consumer perspectives and behaviour'. Dyer (pictured) joins with fifteen years' MR industry experience. For the past nearly five, he has served as VP, Client Service in Nielsen's Innovation practice, focusing on consumer insights for new product and service development and launch. Prior to this, he held the same title at TNS North America, after working at financial forecasting platform Nielsen BASES, designing and running quant research studies. He began his career in advertising research.
In his new role, Dyer is tasked with expanding Discuss.io's business development team across global markets. Co-founder and VP of Research Solutions Jim Longo says of Dyer: 'His experience guiding successful client-facing teams, combined with his deep domain expertise applying insights to solving clients' business problems, has given our team a refreshed approach to building lasting client relations'.
