Retail data specialist The NPD Group has launched its 'Toys E-commerce Tracking Service' in China, covering online sales of toy products.
Available from this month, the service can be accessed by subscribing clients on a monthly basis, and also provides data on emerging trends. Monthly reports cover product purchasing down to the item/model level in eleven 'super-categories' (such as infant/toddler/pre-school, building sets, and action figures) and more than 90 toy subclasses. China is the fourteenth country in which NPD tracks for the toy industry.
