Argentina-based mobile panel and synthetic data specialist Livepanel has announced the launch of a platform called N-INFINITE, which it says allows clients to self-generate synthetic survey data in a matter of minutes.
Livepanel's technology helps clients make the best, most cost-efficient use of mobile devices as survey tools, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. In November the company appointed former Delineate CEO Ben Leet as a Strategic Advisor.
The new standalone SaaS solution was originally developed in 2017 as an in-house tool for quota fulfilment, and applies advanced machine learning to a combination of live survey data and past profiling data from churned panellists, to predict survey responses. The firm says that unlike many other synthetic data solutions, N-INFINITE uses data science and data engineering for its modelling, instead of relying on generative AI and large language models.
Clients upload their datasets - in a variety of possible formats including Excel spreadsheets, CSV and Triple-S - to the platform, which then analyses it and runs a training and prediction process, outputting a completed dataset, also in multiple formats. Livepanel says this 'Augmented Audiences' service helps researchers to complete quota cells more quickly, which reduces field times and removes the need for weighting; and allows them to increase overall sample sizes based on high quality respondents. The platform also offers to complete incomplete surveys 'from 30% completion and upwards with a high degree of accuracy'.
Co-founder and CTO Leonardo Valente (pictured) comments: 'Since 2017, we have been continuously building and developing our technology to solve for several challenges we experience in the LATAM markets, from quota fulfilment and incomplete datasets through to panel churn and poor data quality. Today, we are proud to have released this technology as a standalone SaaS platform, allowing other clients to also experience the benefits that we have had for the past 5 years'.
