Silva Becomes President at Research for Good

July 24 2024

In Seattle, sampling and MR services company Research for Good (RFG) has promoted Rich Silva to President, effective immediately. Silva joined the firm in 2020 as Chief of Staff.

Rich SilvaRFG was launched in 2012 by three former execs from social media sampling firm Peanut Labs, originally to provide online sample while supporting registered charities with donations for every survey completed. Four years ago it launched DataForce, an integrated suite of data acquisition and research tools.

Silva (pictured) joined the company with 30 years of market research experience, from running his own consultancy and from a long spell at Kantar: he worked for the global group's online panel and data company Lightspeed Research / GMI (now Kantar Profiles) as VP, Procurement; as the group's Global Category Sourcing Lead; and earlier as Manager, Third Party Sample at TNS.

In his new role he will lead innovation for DataForce and for the firm's Audience offering, along with client management, business expansion and ongoing oversight of day-to-day operations. Co-founder Matthew Ronco comments: 'RFG has reached a pivotal point in the company's journey. Promoting Rich to President is a testament to his exceptional contributions and leadership. With his comprehensive knowledge of RFG's value proposition, operations, and strategic priorities, I am confident he will continue to fulfill the company vision while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence'.

'I am honored to take on the role of President' says Silva. 'Research for Good has a terrific team, market-leading technology, and audience products that support amazing clients with whom we have built deep relationships... I look forward to leading the business toward the bright future for which we have been positioning ourselves'.
