Canada-based consumer researcher Dig Insights has appointed Joanna Lepore in the new role of EVP of Global Market Expansion & Foresight.Dig has more than 250 staff in offices in Toronto, Chicago and London, and has recently acquired both San Francisco-based qual agency Ignite 360 and Austin, Texas-based strategy and innovation advisor Ebco Trends. The firm's proprietary agile innovation insights platform Upsiide features mobile-first approaches to engaging respondents, and researcher-first analysis and dashboard capabilities.
Lepore (pictured) brings fifteen years of client-side experience in brand strategy and industry recognition as a futurist. She spent the last two and a half at McDonald's as Global Director Foresight & Capabilities Exploration; and the previous four at Mars, initially in Melbourne, Australia and latterly, having moved to Chicago, as Global Foresight AD for North America. Earlier she worked at General Mills and at Devondale Murray Goulburn. In her new role she will focus on expanding Dig's presence in APAC and then globally.
