New CFO for FIRM

Norwegian-based software provider FIRM has appointed Ken W Østreng as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Østreng has been the CFO of Conax AS, a supplier of digital TV access technology, since 2003. He previously worked as CFO for E-Line Group ASA, Finance Director for Broadband Mobile ASA, and Group Finance Controller for Telenor ASA's Internet Business Unit.

'Ken has solid and broad professional experience, including preparing companies for Initial Public Offerings (IPO),' says FIRM's acting CEO Lars Ahlberg. 'We are confident that he will provide the necessary financial leadership as FIRM's business continues to grow and the company plans for public listing at Oslo Stock Exchange.'
