UK-based TMN plc has announced the formation of a new online research company, ICD Research. The new division will sit alongside panels specialist The iD Factor one of whose Directors, Paul Dixon, leaves to head up ICD.
ICD stands for Insight, Consultancy and Delivery, stressing the full service focus of the firm as opposed to the remit of The iD Factor, which will increase its focus on its global panel capabilities and will act as the preferred supplier to ICD Research. ICD starts with direct clients such as the International Herald Tribune, BusinessWeekOnline, the World Press Group, Churchill Insurance, Virgin Money and Royal Mail.
TMN CEO Mark Smith comments: 'Online research is a rapidly growing market and we are keen to make full use of the group's expertise. A distinct consultancy offering alongside our fieldwork specialist means we will capture more business and improve our internal research capability. With this launch, we'll also move closer to becoming a one stop online shop for marketers.' The new firm is online at www.icd-research.com and is based at TMN plc's group headquarters in Holborn, London.
AIM-listed TMN (themutual.net) plc also has divisions offering email databases, a shopping portal and a dedicated email advertising agency. It's home page is at www.tmnplc.com .
