Award-Winner Harris Tipped for Ten Year Growth

Harris Interactive is looking for a bigger trophy cabinet after taking six gongs at the 2007 ARF Ogilvy Awards Gala. The US-based agency was also picked last week as one of SmartMoney magazine's long-term investment portfolio 'Ten Stocks for the Next Ten Years'.

SmartMoney's April 2007 cover story recommended a portfolio of ten buy-and-hold stocks in four broad sectors believed to offer strong potential for the next ten years. Harris was one of two stocks chosen in the global growth sector of the portfolio, and was cited for 'significant future growth potential due to its leading position in the rapidly-growing Internet research sector, as well as its expertise in the global health care arena'.

CEO Greg Novak said the listing was a testimony to the company's ability to help clients improve their performance. The ARF (Advertising Research Foundation) Gala was held last Tuesday evening and brought Harris five category awards. The online specialist also featured in the one-off Business Achievement Award, which honors an organization's exceptional success in solving a critical business challenge and was given to AdoptUsKids/The Advertising Council for a campaign using Harris' Consumer Connection advertising research model.

Three of the category awards were Golds – with DHL in the Business to Business Category; The Ad Council / AdoptUsKids Children's Bureau in the Government, Public Service, Non-Profit Category; and Brinker's (Chili's) in the Retail/E-Tail Category.
