Seattle-based MR software and panels firm GMI (Global Market Insite) has named Joseph Baldini as its new Vice President of IT.Baldini has a 15 year senior IT background, having previously implemented data centre consolidation strategies as VP Engineering at digital media company Muze, where he oversaw the company's $10 million operating and capital budget and supervised a team of 40 employees.
Prior to this, Baldini was General Manager of Sabey DataCenter where he was responsible for six data centres and controlled all aspects of the operation, including managing vendor relationships, performing risk assessments and overseeing a $5-million budget. He holds an AS degree in electronics technology from Bay Valley Tech in Santa Clara, California.
'The VP of IT position is a key role at GMI as we offer numerous ASP-based services. Achieving optimum up-time is crucial for our business, and we won't accept anything less than 99.99%.' explained Mike Brochu, GMI's CEO.
