London-headquartered data integration agency Cognicient has officially launched its FusionPoint™ software for managing and extracting fresh insight from existing research data.
The firm says its new platform enables clients to maximise the value of their research budget by linking existing business information gathered from the various studies they conduct - regardless of the agency that collected it or the software or DP processes used - to prove the value and predictability of their research.
Founder Mike Page explained: 'We see this as a key tool for clients or agencies to get real value from their total research assets. It helps them to understand which research is most powerful in terms of predicting business outcomes and also allows hypotheses to be tested before expensive new fieldwork is commissioned.'
Through its ability to integrate unrelated sources of information, FusionPoint allows companies to develop solutions for issues such as segmentation and targeting, advertising effectiveness, customer retention and churn management.
Cognicient was originally founded in London in 2003, and after putting the operation of the company on hold in 2006 to take up the post of Synovate Director of Operations, Page re-launched the firm last October with the opening of an office in New York (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7401.htm ).
The company is on the net at www.cognicient.com.
